filing cabinet ok so my swelling has almost completely gone down. that makes me happy. also the bruising is almost gone and my speech is improving. and…i can almost bite down completely. solid food is nearing. got some bad news yesterday. david informed me yesterday afternoon that kayla omara, one of 'the twins' and a member of the goodrich cross country team was killed in a car accident tuesday night. her twin sister and another girl on the team are in the hospital in critical condition. that is so sad considering how young she was and what a promising career she had ahead of her. i just hope both kaitlyn and danielle can make a speedy and full recovery. since david has befriended most of the goodrich cross country team, i went over to svsu last nite to see him run and to see how he was doin. hes still tryin to face the reality that she is gone. however he still did well, so it didnt seem to affect his running. talk to sarah last night, that literally made my week. i hadnt talked to her in almost week because she was gone. ive missed her so much. i havent seen her in a month, so that just makes me miss her more. once this tournament gets over with, im goin to see her. i dont care what they all said about preserving my car's life, i will go and see her, that is…if she wants to see me. i mean, i dont wanna drive 2 or 2.5 hours (depending where i start) just to find out she doesnt wanna see me. oh guess wha? my least favorite holiday is coming up…valentines day. i know, i know, i have sarah why should i hate valentines day. its just that i dont like these hallmark holidays. i admit im guilty of contributing to the holiday by purchasing crap from hallmark. but the more i thought about it, u can still let someone know you love them w/o chocolate, teddy bears, cards, and what not. its just that hallmark wants you to think materials = love. i think the best way to spend valentines day, is to just be w/ your loved one on that day, no hallmark items needed. hey___i wonder if i could do that, instead of investing in stuffed bears, invest it into gas money to make a pilgrimage to holland the weekend after the tournament. i wonder if sarah would go for that. someone once told me, 'woman like the material things.' i dunno, id much rather do my idea. but that is, if she wants to see me. i mean maybe she doesnt. i doubt it, but that would really suck. ok im gettin the caffeine shakes so its time to stop typin and calm down. im gonna take a shower, that calms me down. im out

home So I had a lovely time at the spa, as always. It was a bit more crowded than on weekdays, but that also meant less ugly naked old people. I just can't help but people watch in the sauna - it's just so fascinating to see how people handle themselves when they're naked. insurance adjuster Dammit. I've had Thursday and Friday off work and except for going to Cardiff twice, the ONLY thing I've done is play Final Fantasy XI. Any time I've watched a DVD, I watched it while playing Final XI. Oh, and went to see the ass-kicking Harry Potter movie. I've been so bored, I went to Harman's house twice today and phoned him 3 times. I've been wondering what the heck to do. Here is a scene at his house while he was playing Final Fantasy 8 (For as long as I have XI) Harman: I'm so glad to have reached the third disc. cakehometrainer i played a little fooseball at the MWR.im back at the shop now,at least for a little while before i change over with Collins in Alpha Company.back on radio watch now too,but at least the schedule is better now,because now im on for only 4 hours instead of 8.the Corporals have started playing alot more stupid fucking games since ive gotten back,it started a few weeks before i got back to my shop.oh well,fuck them,i could care less really.i watched that movie Jarhead tonight.it was pretty funny,but a little overdone i thought.i tend to doubt thats how Operation Desert Storm was,considering the way it is now is nothing like that.oh well,it is only a movie after all. alot of things go through my head every moment of every day,things id like to forget.i dont want to make it seem like some sort of crutch,but hey,fuck maybe it is,i dont know.nothing i can do about it i guess.i just cant wait to get back to the states.
